Police in the Toronto area confirmed a report in the Israeli daily Ha’aretz that a ring of thieves has been stealing luxury cars from Canada and smuggling them into Israel for resale. A detective with a police auto recovery unit said one person has been charged in Canada, and further charges are likely in the investigation.
