Police Suppress Anti-semitic Demonstrations in Sofia

Police were called upon to suppress anti-Semitic demonstrations in Rustchuk, Pleven and Dupnica, which climaxed an intensive propaganda campaign allegedly stimulated by Germany. Legionnaires smashed the windows of a clubhouse in Plovdiv during a Purim ball of the Maccahi Sports Association. They were dispersed by the police.
