Probably for the first time in the history of Polish Jewry, the Agudath Israel, Orthodox organization, today published a statement favoring the establishment of a united Jewish front for the forthcoming parliamentary elections. In the past the various Jewish parties have nominated their own candidates and consequently the Jewish representation in parliament and in the city councils has been decreased as a result of the split vote.
