According to the report of the Joint Foreign Committee, which is to be submitted to Sunday’s meeting of the Board of Jewish Deputies, the anti-Semitic boycott agitation by the Nazis in Germany continues ceaselessly and with unabated violence. The report adds that the Jewish economic situation in Germany continues to give rise to considerable anxiety.
The report also makes public correspondence between the Polish Ambassador in London and the Joint Foreign Committee regarding the recent Polish disturbances. In the correspondence, the Polish Ambassador expresses the assurance that “necessary steps are being taken in order to prevent the occurrence of further disorder.” He adds the belief that the feeling of unrest is already subsiding.
