Polish Ambassador Juljusz Lukasiewicz conferred yesterday with Senator Henri Berenger, vice-chairman of the Intergovernmental Refugee Committee, concerning the fate of thousands of Polish Jews deported from Germany. a resolution expressing “indignant protest against the abominable new persecutions of German Jews” was adopted by the executive committee of the International Federation of Trade Unions and by the Labor and Socialist International. The resolution called upon public opinion and the governments of All free countries to grant shelter to the victims.
