Polish Ambassador Count Potocki today telegraphed to the Federation of Polish Jews in America expressing gratitude for its message yesterday pledging support to defend Poland against aggression. The Ambassador’s message, addressed to Benjamin Winter, president of the Federation, follows:
“Thank you for your telegram expressing the deep concern of the Federation of Polish Jews in America at a moment when the Polish nation is threatened with an unprovoked war. I shall be glad to convey the text of your telegram to Poland so that the Polish nation can see that the Polish Jews in America stand united in support of the just cause.”
