The center of Jewish world politics has been shifted after the War from London to New York, declares the anti-Semitic “Gazetta Warszawska,” in an effort to discredit the Joint Foreign Committee of London. The observation had reference to the recommendation of the Board of Deputies of British Jews to consider the possibility of sending a committee of advisers to Poland to investigate the position of Polish Jewry.

The Joint Foreign Committee, the paper declares, is merely “the relic of an epoch when the center of Jewish world politics was in England. English Jews cannot forget their former hegomony, and retain the semblance of a Jewish embassy. They work through their own people who have seats in the British Government.”
