The United Jewish Committee for the anti-German boycott in this country has decided to accept the postponement of the economic conference in London, in accordance with the wishes of Lord Alfred Melchett in England. In the meantime, however, Polish Jews and Jewish sympathizers will continue with their preparations, to hold the conference in the Fall.
A certain section of Polish Jews are in favor of holding the conference before the autumn, under any circumstances. If Lord Melchett is not agreeable, they assert they intend to meet in Amsterdam or Paris, rather than wait two more months.
