The Bartel cabinet, including Minister of Education Sojkowski and Minister of the Interior, Professor Lodlianowski, in whom the Sejm voted lack of confidence, was reinstated by President Moscicki.

A mood of depression was apparent in parliamentary circles when the president’s action became known. It is stated that at Thursday’s session of the Sejm, the parties will again vote lack of confidence, this time in the entire cabinet, following which the only solution will be the dissolution of the Sejm and the holding of new elections.
