The Polish Government was lauded yesterday, at a meeting commemorating the 16th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising, for stamping out the remains of anti-Semitism in Poland.
Mrs. Golda Meir, Israel Foreign Minister, speaking at the meeting which was held in the Warsaw Ghetto Forest in the Jerusalem Corridor, also paid tribute to the Polish Government for permitting the remnants of Polish Jewry to emigrate to Israel for reunion with their families.
Anthony Bida, Polish Minister to Israel, hailed the heroism of the Warsaw Ghetto fighters.
