The Polish Government has instructed its Legation in Berlin to lodge an official protest against the maltreatment of Polish Jews, with particular reference to the case of the Chassidic Rabbi, Frankel.

The house of Rabbi Frankel was broken into last week in Berlin, and he was robbed and beaten. The aged rabbi, who was covered with blood, was unconscious for several hours before he was brought to.
