The decision adopted by the Polish Government regarding withdrawal of concessions on monopolized articles is not to be considered the last step in the matter, according to information received by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency representative from a highly authoritative source.

The protests of the Jewish members of Parliament, supported by Polish Merchants organizations, seem to have had an effect on the government and the measure is now being reconsidered. An official statement by the Minister of Trades is expected.
