A polyclinic for tubercular patients, established with the aid of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee under the auspices of the Polish Jewish Society for the Protection of the Health of the Jewish Population, was opened yesterday in Outwork.
Representatives of the Polish government, the municipality and Jewish societies were present as well as the representatives of the Joint Distribution Committee, Dr. Jacob W. Newman, Captain Frank Cannes and Maurice Hexter. The representative of the Polish government in its address expressed the thanks of the government to the Joint Distribution Committee for its relief work among Polish Jews.
