Partial relief from the compulsory Sunday Rest Law will be granted to some sections of Polish Jewry, according to a government decision, the correspondent of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency here learned today.
It was stated on good authority that the government has decided to permit small traders and artisans who employ no help to trade and work in their stores and shops for several hours on Sundays. The decision still needs the ratification of the Council of Ministers.
