Dr. Rafael Landau, for 20 years president of the Cracow Jewish Community, has died under tragic circumstances in the Kazakstan area of the U.S.S.R., Polish Jewish circles here reported today, He was 72 years old. Dr. Landau, who fled from Lwow at the outbreak of the war in Poland, had been deported to the interior by the Soviet Government.
