Purchase of a colony in Palestine for the settlement of 500 Jewish families from Poland was announced today by the Federation of Polish Jews in America. The step was taken in accordance with a decision at the Federation’s recent annual convention. The colony, to be named Polonia, is situated ten miles south of Haifa.
