With a numerous Clausus for Jews as their apparent aim, lawyers’ chambers throughout Poland announced today their intention of starting a new registration of lawyers for the purpose of “establishing who is worthy and who unworthy of membership.” At the same time, the Warsaw lawyers’ chamber began publishing lists of newly registered attorneys, adding the religious affiliation to each name.
