Premier Josef Cyrankiewicz today received a delegation of the Central Jewish Committee of Poland. The group, headed by Adolph Berman, its chairman, discussed current Jewish problems with the Premier.
Dr. Raphael Eidelman, director of the Jewish section of the Royal Library in Copenhagen, has arrived here on a mission for the Danish Government. He will acquire Jewish books in Poland and Czechoslovakia for the library, which already has 25,000 Yiddish and Hebrew volumes.
Dr. Eidelman said that the late King Christian had taken a personal interest in the Jewish section and urged augmenting of its collection. The Danish scholar revealed that a Jewish Scientific Center is being organized in Copenhagen with the cooperation of the Danish Government and the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
