New charges have been made in Poland against West German officials who are accused of war crimes, it was reported here today from Warsaw.
Among those charged were former SS officer Gustav Bamberger, who is now Deputy Mayor of Hanover; Hans Schewel, an official of the city of Gelsenkirchen; and Otto Besler, now a high court judge in Buisberg, who is alleged to have served on a special Nazi court. Also named was a former SS man, Heinrich Richter.
