Political Reasons Blamed for Delaying New Railroad Line

Political reasons are responsible for the delay in the construction of the Maan Akaba railroad, the acting manager of the Palestine General Railways, told the Arab paper, “Al Carmel.” He also said that the delay was due to the fact that this new line would have diverted pilgrims to Akaba, thus causing a loss to the Hedjaz railways.
