An executive order exempting poor families from paying property tax will be signed by Finance Minister Pinhas Sapir within the next few days, it was reported here today. The measure has already been approved by the Knesset finance committee. The tax relief will be granted to families occupying residential units not exceeding IL50,000 in value occupied by a family of up to five persons and to families of six or more persons in units of up to IL 65,000 value.
