Pope Pius XII conveyed his thanks to David Dubinsky, president of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union in the United States, for the interest which he is taking in the Boys’ Town in Rome, it was revealed here today by Philip Kramer, vice-president of the ILGWU, who arrived from Rome where he paid a visit to the Pope.
Mr. Kramer said that the Pope greeted him in Hebrew and thanked him for helping the Boys’ Town in Rome. “The Pope asked me to extend his thanks to Mr. Dubinsky who is the head of the American Committee for Boys’ Town,” Mr. Kramer said.
