Yekusiel Portnoj, leader of the Jewish Socialist Bund in Poland and one of the pioneers of Jewish Socialism, who recently arrived in the United States from Europe, died here today, aged 69, He was one of the most beloved figures in the Jewish labor movement, where he was known under the names “Noah” and “Jozef.” The funeral will take place Tuesday morning from the Forward Hall.
