The first post-war conference of the World Union for Progressive Judaism will be held in London between July 25 and 30, it was announced here today by the National Federation of Temple Sisterhoods. Jane Evans, executive director of the federation, is leaving for England tomorrow by air to attend the conference.
Among the topics to be discussed at the international meeting are the reconstruction of war-destroyed synagogues and the extension of Jewish religious activities to industrial workers. The sessions will be attended by delegates from the United States, all the European countries, Australia and the Union of South Africa.
