A check representing the contribution of Manhattan and Bronx Jewish postal employes will be presented to the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies at the tenth annual entertainment and ball of the Jewish Postal Welfare League, to be held at the Hotel Commodore, on January 5. The check will be received by Acting Postmaster Albert Goldman, an officer of Federation.
More than 4,000 post-office workers, their friends and families are expected to attend the ball, which will also mark the admittance of Mr. Goldman into the Jewish Postal Workers Welfare League as an honorary member. Louis Blumberg, president of the League, is in charge of arrangements, assisted by Jacob Hornick, chairman of the publicity committee.
