Private Prague advices said today that the Jewish question was discussed at a meeting of the Elias Cabinet, during which several ministers spoke against a racialist solution. A special committee was appointed to decide on the final draft of an anti-Jewish decree after examination of various proposals, including those submitted by the Party of National Unity.
It is understood that the Czech Government still believes the Jewish question is not racial but economic and any solution, therefore, is expected to be in fullest conformity with the Czech laws and the Constitution.
It was reported from Bratislava, Slovakian capital, that Economics Minister Geza Medricky is drafting further anti-Jewish measures to expropriate Jewish-owned real estate.
