Predictions that a nation-wide campaign to write anti-evolution legislation into the statutes of every State in the Union, would exceed the efforts of the Anti-Saloon League in bringing about the adoption of Eighteenth Amendment, were made by Dr. Albert C. Diffenbach, editor of the “Christian Register and Modernist Leader,” while attending the sessions of the Institute of Politics. He declared he would bend every effort to gather forces to combat the campaign which he alleges is conducted by the Fundamentalists.
