Premier Indira Ghandi of India was urged Thursday by Shoshana Arbelli-Almoslino, chairman of the Knesset Labor Committee, to intervene to save the life of Dori Kashkosh, the sole survivor of the Kashkosh family murdered by Iraqi secret police in their Baghdad home April 12. The appeal, cabled to Mrs. Ghandi, stated: “As an Iraqi by birth and as a member of Israel’s Parliament I approach you and appeal for your intervention as a woman and as the Premier of India to save the life of Dori Kashkosh, the last remnant of a family which was murdered in Iraq.” A copy of the cable was sent to the Speaker of the Indian parliament.
