Premier Menachem Begin and other ministers on Sunday put the finishing touches on a Torah scroll written in memory of Jerusalemites who died in Israel’s wars. Each minister in turn assisted by a religious scribe, added one of the final letters to the scroll. Other parts were written by members of bereaved families and by 10,000 Jerusalem high school students.
