Premier Menachem Begin has appointed a committee to prepare for negotiations on the future status of the West Bank and Gaza Strip within the framework of the Camp David agreements, the government press office announced Thursday. The committee, headed by Dr. Eliahu Ben Elissar, Director General of the Prime Minister’s office, has held several meetings and has set up various working groups, the announcement said.
