Vintila Bratianu, the new Roumanian Prime Minister, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Titulescu today received Dr. Chaim Weizmann, president of the World Zionist Organization.
Dr. Weizmann also called on the British ambassador to Bucharest and on Minister of the Interior Duca. The latter renewed his assurance that the Roumanian government views the Zionist movement with favor and added that his government makes every effort at maintaining order in the country and is sincere in its desire for cooperation with the Jewish representatives.
The Roumanian press publishes statements today by Metropolit Miron, member of the Regency, Duca, Titulescu, Lupu and General Coanda, declaring their sympathy with the Zionist movement.
