Members of Westminster Presbyterian Church of this city have presented to Temple Beth Emeth here two Menorahs in appreciation of the use of the Temple for two years after the church had been destroyed by fire. “I think this is another example of the Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Man that your congregation could worship here so happily,” Dr. Nelson K. Fromm, president of the Temple, said in acceptance of the gift.
‘It is good to see so many of our Westminster congregation here tonight and to have them come and seat themselves in their old accustomed pews,” said Rev. Kenneth B. Welles. “You see, we have a feeling that we belong.”
The ceremony took place in the Temple and both congregations attended. Arthur L. Andrews presented the Menorahs. Rabbi Bernard A. Bamberg of Temple Beth Emeth addressed the congregations.
