Dr. Joseph S. Kornfeld, American Minister to Persia, who recently resigned from his post to again enter the American pulpit will sail
for America on September list.
Much regret is being expressed in leading Jewish circles in Persia at the resignation of Dr. Kornfeld. During his activities as American Minister he has been instrumental in several cases to smooth the situation of the Jews in Presia and many reference have been made to him as “The Present Day Mordecai” to the Jews of Persia.
