An interpellation asking immediate government action for the relief of the Bessarabian famine victims has been presented to Premier Maniu by Deputy Landau of the Club of Roumanian Jewish Deputies.
The interpellation declares there are over 100,000 starving in the famine districts of Bessarabia. It complains further that while the village populations have received aid, the appeals of the town populations have gone unheeded.
