President Bush said the United States would not deal with a Hamas-led government if it doesn’t renounce its goal of destroying Israel. “I’ve made it very clear that the United States does not support political parties that want to destroy our ally Israel, and that people must renounce that part of their platform,” Bush said Thursday after results showed a surprise win in Palestinian legislative elections for the terrorist group. Bush also asked Mahmoud Abbas to stay on as Palestinian Authority president.
