President Carter on Monday signed resolutions adopted by both branches of Congress awarding a Congressional gold medal to Nazi-hunter Simon Wiesenthal , The White House said that the medal “is in recognition of his contributions to international justice through the documentation and locations of war criminals from World War II.” The medal probably will be presented to Wiesenthal in about six months after it is designed and struck.
