President Clinton called for action against terrorism during his address before the U.N. General Assembly. “No one in this room, nor the people you represent, are immune” from the threat of terrorism, Clinton told the assembled diplomats. British Prime Minister Tony Blair offered to host a high-level conference in London this fall to target terrorists’ fund-raising efforts.
