Morris Weinberg, publisher of The Day-Jewish Journal, national Yiddish daily newspaper, was the recipient today of numerous greetings on his 90th birthday, including greetings from President Johnson and Israel’s President Zalman Shazar.
Among those who sent messages of greeting to Mr. Weinberg were also Israel’s Prime Minister Levi Eshkol, Gov, Nelson A. Rockefeller, Mayor John V. Lindsay, and Jewish leaders from all over the United States. Greetings were telegraphed also by Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey, Israel’s former Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion, and many other notable personalities.
