President Miguel de la Madrid Hortado and top Mexican scientists and public figures are participating in the Weizmann Institute’s international leadership conference which began here Wednesday. It was decided to hold the conference here to emphasize the growing ties between Institute scientists and their Latin American counterparts, ties which have been formalized by cooperation agreements with scientific bodies in Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Panama and Colombia.
