Funeral services took place here today for Dr. Saul Symonds, president of the Board of Jewish Deputies and of the Australian Jewish Welfare Society, who died suddenly at his home at the age of 58. He was one of the outstanding Jewish leaders in Australia and was especially active in securing admission of more Jewish refugees to the country.
