President Juscelino Kubitschek, speaking over the radio today, congratulated the Jewish people and the State of Israel on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of the Jewish State.
“Brazil has always followed with great interest the unusual efforts of the Jewish people to transform a piece of territory treated unkindly by nature into a prosperous and productive land, ” the President stated.
