Presidential hopeful Pat Buchanan accused one of his critics of putting Israel’s interests before America’s. During an appearance on ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Tuesday, he said New York Times columnist William Safire “has always put Israel a little bit ahead of his own country.” The comment came after Safire wrote a column criticizing Buchanan’s comments about Jewish influence on American foreign policy.
