Mrs. Sara Delano Roosevelt, mother of the President, has become one of the honorary patrons for the annual all-star show and fashion revue of the Israel Orphan Asylum, scheduled for March 23 at Madison Square Garden, it was announced yesterday by former Judge Gustave Hartman, founder and president of the institution.
Other prominent women among the 200 distinguished persons in the patrons’ group are Mrs. Herbert H. Lehman, Mrs. Fiorello H. LaGuardia, Fannie Hurst, the novelist, and former Congresswoman Ruth Baker Pratt.
