Presidents of Jewish National Fund Councils from all parts of the nation held a two-day conference here to map plans to redouble JNF Income for the next four years. The conference, convened by Max Brescler, JNF president, unanimously adopted a resolution, in response to a message from the JNF headquarters in Jerusalem, reading in part as follows:
“Cognizant of the additional financial obligations assumed by the Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael, we solemnly affirm cur determination to come to the aid of the State of Israel, by redoubling the contribution of American Jews through the Jewish National Fund, to the end that the financial assistance be commensurate with the urgency of this crucial moment in the development of the Jewish Homeland.”
