Prime Minister Ariel Sharon warned Lebanon against diverting water from the Hatzbani River, which feeds into the Sea of Galilee, Israel’s main fresh water reservoir. Sharon said Tuesday that such a move would be a clear violation of agreements regarding the distribution of water in the region and could lead to war.
