Prof. Meyer Balaban, famous Jewish historian, who was among the Jews deported by the Nazis from the Warsaw ghetto to an unknown destination, died en route, it was learned by Polish-Jewish circles here today. He was 65 years old. He was a professor of history and geography. For the last 25 years he had devoted himself to Jewish history in Poland concerning which he published many works.
