Prof. Rene Cassin was re-elected chairman of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights today as the 12th session of the commission opened here. Prof. Cassin is vice-president of the Council of State, the Upper House of the French National Assembly, a top legal authority and leader of the Alliance Israelite Universelle and other Jewish organizations.
