PROF. EINSTEIN’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATED IN ISRAEL
The 75th birthday of Prof. Albert Einstein was celebrated here last night at a gathering arranged jointly by the Hebrew University, Haifa Technion, Weizmann Institute of Science and the Israel Research Council.
President Itzhak Ben Zvi of Israel, who opened the meeting spoke at great length of Prof. Einstein as a scientist and a warm-hearted Jew. Other speakers included members of the Cabinet and noted Israeli scientists.
