Albert A. Michelson, the noted physicist of the University of Chicago, was home today after spending six months in the Presbyterian Hospital. “Tell the boys in the shops that I shall be back with them soon.” was the word the famous scientist passed out. “I am feeling fine and expect to be back at work shortly.” As soon as he has recovered sufficiently, Professor Michelson will go to the Mount Wilson Observatory near Los Angeles, where he will continue his experiments for reducing to a finer figure his calculations of the speed at which light travels.
