Dr. Solomon L. Skoss, Professor of Arabic Language and Literature at Dropsied College, died here yesterday at the age of 69. Born in Russia, Prof. Skoss came to this country in 1907. He studied at several American universities and at the Egyptian University and the School of Oriental Studies, both in Cairo. He wrote several scholarly books and many articles on Arabic subjects. In 1950 he was a member of the faculty of the New York University summer workshop in Israel.
